In addition to the American Psychological Association (APA), there are many professional organizations that may be a better fit for your professional interests and development – e.g., ACPA-College Students International (if interested in college counseling centers); Society for Research in Child Development; International Neuropsychological Society; etc.
TIP: Many APA divisions have affordable (or free) student membership fees. Joining division(s) help you get connected with professionals and students with similar interests. You do not have to join APA or APAGS in order to join a division.
